Students Helping Students

We are grateful for students that have raised money to assist Cameron Carico +10

Alec Nigut

Alec Nigut is a friend of CC+10. As a service project in May Alec raised $250 for the foundation. It should be pointed out that Alex is a 7th grader. To show this kind of commitment and heart of service at a young age is truly amazing. Alec, we thank you for your support and know you have a bright future.

Cade Moulton

The Cameron Carico +10 Foundation would like to thank Cade Moulton for his support in suicide prevention.  Cade and several others from Dowling High School sold bracelets after the death of their friend Luke Anderson.  Cade raised $625 and donated it our foundation in the hopes of helping others that need support for suicidal thoughts and to help end the stigma of mental health.  Thank You Cade, and the Cameron Carico +10 Foundation send our thoughts and prayers to you and to all of the suicide survivors of Luke Anderson.

Joe Jansen
We wanted to share a story that lifted our spirits. This December, Joe Jansen gave a generous gift to the Cameron Carico +10 Foundation and the Hank Evans fund. On his 12th birthday Joe split the cash gifts he received between the two foundations. What a special young man, and a great role model for giving. Thanks Joe!

The Big Give

WOW! The CC+10 Board would like to send a HUGE thank you to the Johnston student council, Buffalo Wild Wings, Famous Dave's and Pizza Ranch. The Big Give raised over $8,000 for the Cameron Carico +10 Foundation. We encourage you to continue to dine at these delicious establishments. Each year Johnston High School Student Government raises money for a selected charity. The Cameron Carico +10 Foundation will be the recipient of the students’ generosity, time, and hard work this year.

Johnston High Girls Host Halloween Party to benefit CC+10

Back in October, Abby Gorsche and Sophia Cresta held a joint Halloween party to benefit the Cameron Carico +10 Foundation.  The event, held at the Lions Club in Johnston, was complete with a DJ, decorations, deserts, and fun times for all.

The girls are happy to report that the proceeds
appear to be just over $1,600. Sophia and Abby presented their donation to board members Dawn and Michael.

Kudos to these young girls for their excellent event planning skills, and their spirit of giving. The
Cameron Carico +10 Foundation is grateful for their contribution. Their generous donation will go towards Mental Health First Aid Training for teachers and administrators in the Johnston and Waukee school districts.
